Valley Cops captures 2 Gunmen in Cagayan

  CAMP MARCELO A ADDURU, TUGUEGARAO CITY- 2 suspects in the shooting incident in Gonzaga, Cagayan were arrested in Sta Teresita, Cagayan yesterday July 3, 2018.

   Police report shows that on the early morning of July 3, 2018, Gonzaga PS received a phone call from a concerned citizen that there was a shooting incident transpired in Barangay, Cabiraoan, Gonzaga, Cagayan. Immediately, personnel of said Police Station responded and found a lying body of a male person full of blood stain with two (2) gunshot wounds on his right breast and one (1) gunshot wound on his face with the use of a calibre 45.

  The victim was identified as Lorigel Caban, 37, years old, single and a resident of said place while suspects who already left the crime scene were identified as Ian Tupag, 22 years old, single laborer and a resident of Blk 9 Lot 8 Brgy Fatima, Dasmarinas, Cavite and Solomon Rosete, 29 years old, married, farmer and a resident of said place.

  Responding elements of Gonzaga PS conducted manhunt operation for the possible arrest of the suspects and while on the process of bringing the cadaver of the victim for autopsy at Alfonso Ponce Enrile Memorial District Hospital, coincidently personnel of said hospital informed the PNP that there were patients of vehicular incident brought by personnel of Sta Teresita Police Station named Solomon Rosete  and Ian Tupag who were also the same person involved in shooting incident within their area of responsibility but same were already released upon applying first aid. Upon confirming, personnel of Gonzaga PS immediately contacted and informed said station and requested them to hold the said suspects that yielded to their arrest.

   A case of Murder is now being prepared for filing against the suspects.

  RD, PRO2 PCSUPT JOSE MARIO M ESPINO congratulated the operating units for the arrest of the 2 gunmen and expresses his gratitude to the public for their support on the PNP’s Anti- criminality campaign.
