Drug pusher arrested in buy-bust

 

     Police Regional Office 2 continues to score in its relentless campaign against illegal drugs operation in the region as it arrested a drug personality in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.

       Arrested after a series of painstaking intelligence effort was Jhon Padilla y Guillermo, 22 years old, married, a resident of Brgy. Roxas, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.

 

       In his report to Camp Crame, PRO2 RD ATTY. RODRIGO PURISIMA DE GRACIA said that at about 06:00 AM on November 08, 2012, elements of Solano Police Office and Intelligence Operatives led by PCI JUANCHO N ALOBBA in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA2) conducted anti-illegal drugs buy-bust operation along National Highway in Brgy. Quirino, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya that resulted in the arrest of the said suspect while in the act of selling Three (3) plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as “Shabu.” Confiscated from the suspect was One (1) gray belt bag containing driver’s license; one (1) piece Five Hundred Peso (Php 500.00) bill marked money, one (1) piece Fifty Peso (Php 50.00) bill and three (3) pieces Twenty Peso (Php 20.00) bill.

       A case for violation of RA 9165 is now prepared for proper filing of charges against the suspect. Confiscated items are now in the custody of the PNP Crime Laboratory for examination and analysis while the suspect is still in the custody of Solano Police Office.

      Commending the participating personnel for a job well done, DE GRACIA urged PRO2 to remain vigilant against personalities involved in the illegal drug trade. “As long as PRO2 exists, illegal drugs have no place in Region 2,” he firmly added.
